Synopsis
Some sponsors permit awardee institutions to make adjustments to an award budget as long as the project funds are used in compliance with the sponsor's policies and regulations. Such deviations from the award budget must enhance the project and conform with the rebudgeting guidelines of the funding sponsor. The ORS New Award Notification indicates the allowability of carry-over. If permission is required, prepare a letter as outlined below.
