Synopsis
The NIH electronic Streamlined Non-competing Award Process (eSNAP) is a component of eRA Commons that allows PIs to submit an electronic version of a progress report to NIH.
When an NIH grant is "subject" to eSNAP, PIs must use the web based application in eRA Commons to submit their annual progress reports. Whether or not a grant is subject to eSNAP is indicated in the NIH Notice of Grant Award which is sent to a department and PI and is reiterated in the ORS New Award Notification that accompanied the award notice.
