Synopsis
In order to have proposals reviewed and approved in a timely manner, PIs and PDs must submit them to ORS five business days prior to the deadline. If the PI/PD is unable to meet this deadline, then s/he must ask the departmental chair or dean to request a waiver from the Vice Provost for Research.
A business day is defined as a day when the University is operating its normal schedule; weekends and administrative holidays do not count as business days.
